Finished the first series of Higurashi, and am currently on a hype about it. I tried to draw Rena from the scene where she finds Keiichi holding the alarm clock "bomb". Of course, this scene didn't have all that blood, but as we all know blood makes everything better.
On a side note, apparently I have magical sharpie coloring skills since the lines didn't streak, and according to my friends they should have. But they didn't, and it made it look nicer. XD
I like the cleaver, the little down-curve on the end makes it look much more vicious than your average flesh render.
And yes, they should streak. If anyone else tried it the lines would have streaked. Therefore we have come to the conclusion that you are a witch, and evil mass murdering sharpie witch. The sharpies may also be evil, we haven't come to a solid decision on them yet. <.<

Somewhere Under the rainbow, beating up leprechauns for their gold...
Looks great, especially the sharp edged object. Shadow on her face seems kind of weird, though, probably considering how light the rest of the picture is and how little her bow's shadow is.
You are NOT a witch; don't listen to Kyle. Having crazy sharpie skills does not make you a witch.
I'd have to say sharpies have the properties to be used for "good" or "evil" in which case, the decision could never be solid.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
